Russia’s voice comes from Washington

This Thursday saw a presentation of the Voice of Russia Radio Station’s new project in Washington, DC.

Voice of Russia is launching its broadcast in the United States, airing two daily shows from its brand new state-of-the-art studio in downtown Washington, just steps away from the White House.

“This is a very important step for our radio company,” Voice of Russia’s head Andrey Bystritskiy said. “For the first time ever, programs meant for US listeners will be made right in the USA.”

Currently, we are on air 6 hours every day – 3 hours of the morning prime time and 3 hours of the evening prime time.

The most recent news, in-depth analysis and vast variety of opinions and professional assessments from Russian, U.S. and international experts are brought to the American audience in New York City and Washington, DC on 1430 AM and 1390 AM respectively.

AM is one the most popular formats of broadcast in the USA. It is usually received in good quality both by home and car radios.

Politics, business, science, culture, and sports are covered in the interest of our listeners not only by journalists, but also by the pros from the respective spheres. The Voice of Russia’s guest list includes think-tank experts, politicians, market players, diplomats, artists, and athletes just to name a few.

Many of our hosts, producers and reporters are experienced and award-winning talents.
