FBC's new frequencies expected to maximise returns

The six radio stations run by Fiji Broadcasting Corporation (FBC) are currently in the process of a frequency change over.

Following the government decree on frequencies, the company has been working on switching to the new frequencies.

FBC expects that its new broadcast frequencies will maximise returns for its clients and listeners when it comes into effect.

FBC's Sales Director Morika Hunter said the new frequency means a lot to the corporation as it is in line with reforms done to boost radio broadcast and will take the media industry in Fiji to new era.

"We are doing an extensive marketing campaign so that people will know ... the new frequencies. We will be out there with better sound and much better reach," she said.
