RADIODAYS EUROPE IN CENTRAL BARCELONA MARCH 2012

Radiodays Europe, the largest annual radio conference in Europe, will next year take place at the heart of Barcelonas central Raval district on 15-16 March 2012.

The conference venue is a modern urban showcase with historic roots – the Centre for Contemporary Culture in Barcelona (CCCB). It is Barcelonas most famous museum for contemporary art and culture and is located in the historic Raval district, a few minutes' walk from the famous street Las Ramblas. CCCB also has modern conference facilities in a charming setting.

Radiodays Europe is the meeting point for all radio in Europe, bringing together private and public radios in Europe. The 2011 conference in Copenhagen had nearly 700 participants from 45 countries.

- We are proud to have Barcelona, Spain, as a hosting city. It is an attractive, vibrant city and easy to reach from most parts of Europe. Together with our local partners we will make sure that 15-16 March 2012 will be a great experience for everyone, says Anders Held, one of Radiodays Europe Project Managers.

Radiodays Europe is supported by important European broadcaster organisations such as the EBU (public broadcasters), AER (private radios), egta (European saleshouses) and national radio conferences and organisations in the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Portugal and Slovenia.
