This week’s question is about Africa’s newest country. Felicitations, Maazel Tov, Felicidades, Auguri, CONGRATULATIONS to South Sudan! Africa’s 54th country announced its independence on 9 July (you surely heard our reports from Billie O’Kadameri, who was there, the lucky devil): my question to you is, who is the president? Who was sworn in as President of South Sudan on 9 July, 2011?
Send me your answers by 5 September; the answer and the winners will be announced on the 10 September programme. Be sure you send your postal address in with your answer … and be sure and tell me if you are a Mr. or a Mrs. or a Ms. or a Miss – I don’t want to get it wrong!
