Digital Radio Conference 2011

Delegates will be invited to join the studio audience in a live multi-platform broadcast from the European Parliament's 'VoxBox' studio, pictured above.

The EBU's annual Digital Radio Conference - a key event for all stakeholders in radio's digital future - is now accepting registrations from EBU Members and invited partners from the commercial sector.

For the first time, the event is to be held at the European Parliament in Brussels, to demonstrate the potential of new technology to enhance radio's listening experience to MEPs and top-level decision makers, and to engage them in the discussion on the roadmap to radio's digital future.

Following last year's highly-successful event in Belfast, representatives of commercial broadcasters and industry partners will be invited to attend, and to present a coherent vision of the medium's future broadcast landscape from as wide a cross-section of stakeholders as possible.

In addition to a plenary event on Wednesday 12th October, delegates will be invited to join the studio audience for a live multi-platform broadcast from the European Parliament's 'VoxBox' studio on Tuesday 11th October, during which a new hybrid radio production platform developed by the EBU will be demonstrated, along with a wide range of listening devices.
