It’s been 83 years since RTI, the national broadcaster of the Republic of China on Taiwan, was established in 1928. At a reception held on August 1st at RTI’s headquarters in Taipei, RTI Chairman Chang Jung-kung (middle) cut a cake along with RTI president Fan Hsiang-lin (right) and Swaziland’s ambassador to Taiwan, Njabuliso B. Gwebu.
Chairman Chang said RTI has played a crucial role in promoting Taiwan in the international community while connecting Taiwan to its global listeners at the same time. The reception also saw the launch of a new English web site. Different from the old one, the new site features more interactive features, social media networking, a quick poll, an easy-to-use calender to listen to our previous programs, Chinese To Go newsletters and more.
