Today’s quiz question was read on 10 July. Earlier that week, a ship,
bound for Gaza, was prohibited from leaving a port near Piraeus in
Greece. The ship was stopped, the captain - American John Klusmire -
was arrested, and charged with setting sail without permission, and
endangering passengers (the charges were later dropped).
I asked you to send in the name of the boat … and I admit it was a
bit tricky, because around that same time another boat – the Tahrir -
was prohibited from leaving Crete … but I asked you about the boat from
Piraeus, whose captain was arrested … and that boat’s name is: “The
Audacity of Hope”.
The winners this week are: Mr. Richard Chen, from Trincity, Trinidad
and Tobago; Mr. Sau Fu Kiat, from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Mr. S.J.
Agboola, from Ekiti State, Nigeria; Mr. Ronald Serwanja, from Kampala,
Uganda; and last but not least, Mrs. Kajari Chattopadhyay, from
Murshidabad, India.
Congratulations winners!
