Ofcom has announced that applications are now open for the First Round of the 2012/2013 Community Radio Fund.
The fund opened for applications yesterday, 10 April 2012 and will close at 5pm on 11 May 2012.
The Community Radio Fund Panel will meet to consider applications on 25 June 2012.
Grants can only be made to community radio licensees who are broadcasting under a community radio licence (and not an RSL, for example).
We strongly recommend that potential applicants take a look at the Guidance Notes, available from Ofcom’s website, along with details of previous successful applications. Ofcom generally fund positions that are likely to be able to sustain themselves financially once Community Radio Fund money has been used up, such as Business Development or Sales roles.
