Tuesday, 19 June 2012, marked the first day of the 2012 Euroradio Summer Festivals, an offer 356 exceptional LIVE concerts from the most prestigious summer festivals throughout Europe (Bayreuth, BBC Proms, Lucerne, Salzburg, Chorégies d’Orange…), offered by EBU Radio Members. Every day until 16 September, a minimum of two live concerts will be broadcast from these festivals.
All concerts are technically coordinated from the Euroradio Control Centre in Geneva, under the supervision of Robert Cutliffe who, as every year, is assisted by Euroradio engineers sent to Geneva by EBU Member organizations.
From 18 June to 16 July, we are happy to welcome Daniel Andrei from Romanian Radio and Espen Stensrud from Norwegian Radio.
From 16 July to 13 August, we will have the pleasure of working with Vitalie Gudumac from Teleradio Moldova and Eugene Kostiukevych from Ukrainian Radio.
Finally, from 13 August to 16 September, the team will be composed of Julia Zuikina from Estonian Radio and Ireneusz Ogrodowski of Polish Radio.
