The Radio Academy’s Techcon Technical Innovation Award is now available for submissions.
Entries celebrating all our engineers and technical masterminds working in the radio industry are encouraged for the award, which is sponsored by Arqiva.
Whether you are a station engineer who has devised a new idea which helps your station interact with their audience, increase production standards, reduce costs or create revenue, or perhaps a manufacturer or supplier who has brought out a new product or service which helps stations achieve this, the Academy would like to hear of the innovative things you’ve been doing.
In your role working for a national broadcaster you might have organised the coverage of a mass-audience multi-national event, or perhaps you volunteer for a community, hospital or student station who achieved great things with very little budget – the award will celebrate technical minds throughout the industry who are thinking outside the norm, going the extra mile and achieving the extraordinary.
Closing date is midnight September 30th and entry forms are available here. Finalists will be invited to share their innovations with colleagues across the industry at the Radio Festival in November.
