The ABU has announced the 15 finalists for its inaugural international radio song festival.

The 15 were selected from 26 entries from throughout the Asia-Pacific and have been invited to perform in the finals at the ABU General Assembly in Seoul, Korea, on 11 October.

They will compete in front of an international judging panel for three top awards.

The ABU’s Vijay Sadhu said ABU members were able to submit a maximum of two entries each from unsigned, original and unpublished artists.

“With an incredible array of talent, style and musical abilities on show, selection for the finalists was difficult,” she said. “The finals in Seoul will be very exciting.”

The final 15 are from: Australia (2), Bhutan, Brunei, Fiji, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia (2) Pakistan, Singapore, South Korea (2), Sri Lanka and Vietnam.

A complete list of submissions is available at www.aburadiosongfestival.asia.
