talkSPORT reveals its first international broadcast partners

talkSPORT has announced its first English language broadcast partners to carry its official Barclays Premier League and FA Cup coverage during the 2012/13 season, which starts on 18 August.

Bell Media’s TSN and Team stations in Canada, Radio Sport in New Zealand and Citi FM in Ghana will all carry both talkSPORT’s live Barclays Premier League and FA Cup commentary on an exclusive basis within their broadcast area.

Brila FM in Nigeria will also carry talkSPORT’s live Barclays Premier League commentary. The station is expected to announce more broadcast partners in due course.

Broadcasting 64 games per season, talkSPORT is an official broadcaster of the Barclays Premier League in the UK since 2001. The station has now agreed a deal with the Premier League which sees them have exclusive package of international audio broadcasting rights for the next four football seasons – which takes then up to the 2015/16 season.

talkSPORT has launched its talkSPORT Live digital service at talkSPORT.com, where live commentary on all 380 Premier League games in multiple languages, including English, Spanish and Mandarin will be available outside of the European Economic Area.
