(VOV) - Seven officials of the Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) were presented on September 7 with the Foreign Ministry’s insignias for their contributions to Vietnam's diplomacy.
The list of honourees includes Phan Quang, former Director General; Mai Thuc Long, former Deputy Director General; Doan Viet Trung, Deputy General Director; Vu Hai, Deputy General Director; Vu Bich Ngoc, former Editor-in-chief of VOV online and Doan Thi Trung, Director of VOV5.
At the presentation ceremony, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ho Xuan Son thanked VOV leaders, officials, reporters and technicians who have stood side by side with the ministry over the past 67 years and contributed significantly to national diplomacy.
Veteran journalist Phan Quang said he was greatly honoured to receive the award, adding that as the press holds diplomatic functions, journalists must be aware of their responsibility to implement State diplomatic policies.
