The EBU’s new corporate identity is being implemented from 1 September 2012. It will be rolled out progressively across all activities and events.
Director General, Ingrid Deltenre said :
" The identity encapsulates the dynamic organization our Members want us to be. Using one visual approach across all our activities unifies and strengthens our organization. "
The new visual identity was developed after consultation with Members, external stakeholders and staff. It communicates a modern, dynamic media organization with strong roots in the past, with plenty of energy and innovative spirit for the future.
The distinctive look and feel strengthens the brand, raises the profile of the organization to influence the international media agenda and strengthen public media.
The Dutch design agency Studio Dumbar developed the identity, following a competitive tender.
