The Dutch radio listening figures for May/June were released this week, based on the listening diaries of 9695 respondents aged 10 years of older. Despite losing 0.2 percent compared to April/May, Radio 538 remains the clear market leader, a full two percentage points ahead of its nearest rival 3FM, and 1.5 percent up year-on-year.
In addition to increasing its market share to 4.5% - not quite a record as once in the past it managed 4.7% - 100%NL achieved a record weekly reach of 1.871.000 different listeners.
Lower down the table, the oldest surviving commercial station, Radio 10 Gold, has just dropped outside the Top Ten, swapping places with Slam!FM. Its reintroduction of mediumwave hasn’t shown any commercial gains, its share being identical to one year ago.
