BBC Radio 5 Live recorded over a quarter of a million online requests for its commentary of the David Haye v Wladimir Klitschko fight on Saturday night (253,988 requests).
The programme also garnered a huge number of calls and emails with people desperate to comment on the dramatic fight at its conclusion.
Commenting on the figures, Radio 5 Live Deputy Contoller, Jonathan Wall, said: "There was clearly a massive demand from our audience for online commentary on this much anticipated fight which lead to this record figure for online listening."
