The BBC Academy is once again looking for talented,
ambitious and organised individuals with a passion for broadcasting to join the
BBC Production
Talent Pool (PTP).
Opening for applications on February 18, the PTP is one of
the main routes into entry-level production jobs across the BBC and provides
the opportunity for short-term, paid work across the corporation.
PTP members will be eligible for runner and production
management roles around the UK and may find themselves working on everything
from EastEnders to the Chris Evans Breakfast Show. Applicants to the scheme don’t necessarily need
to have previously worked in the media or have a degree, but do need able to
demonstrate a keen interest in the media.
As well as giving a vital first step on the ladder to a
career in broadcasting and valuable experience and contacts, membership of the
PTP is the only route onto the prestigious BBC Production Trainee
Scheme - the BBC’s year-long fast-track traineeship.
To apply for the Production Talent Pool and for more
information, head to the BBC Careers Site.
