A major power cut at Jazz
FM left the station on back-up audio this weekend, and having to
relocate to facilities at RCS headquarters in Guildford.
The troubles began on Friday evening when the power was cut to the studio. A message on the station’s Facebook page read “Our apologies for the current technical problems. We’ll be back with you as soon as we can.”

A spokesperson for Jazz FM told RadioToday the entire building was
affected, and the issue was in the hands of the electricity board.
The station is providing normal programming from their back-up
facility, and is hoping to be back home to Margaret Street, London,
within the next 24-48 hours.
