CBS Radio Extends Relationship with Programmer Kevin Weatherly.
Los Angeles-based programming pro Kevin Weatherly re-signs with CBS Radio
to continue as senior vice president of programming with the company
where he will also continue to serve as vice president of programming
for CBS Radio Los Angeles and PD of alternative KROQ, CHR KAMP “97.1 Amp
Radio” and adult hits KCBS-FM “93.1 Jack FM.” He will continue to play
an instrumental role in the launch of new music stations and the
evolution of established brands within CBS Radio. CBS Radio president Dan Mason
states, “I’m thrilled to renew our commitment to Kevin who has been an
integral part of CBS Radio for the last two decades. It goes without
saying that he is one of the most influential and respected programmers
in the music industry today. Kevin has guided virtually every station
he has worked with to winning levels because of his instinct and
willingness to take risks.”
