AVG launches Vietnam's largest network control centre

Audio Visual Global JSC (AVG) officially launched its Network Control Centre in Hanoi on 9 August.

The Network Control Centre, a system consisting of 51 large screens integrated with servers, transmitters, and specialised software, is considered to be the largest and most modern network control centre in Vietnam as well as in the region.

The control centre allows AVG to supervise the whole technical system from input signal source, Network Operation Centre, transmission system to digital terrestrial television sites (DTT) and DTH uplink stations which are located all over Vietnam.

The Network Control Centre can also monitor signal quality received by customers via a probe system which consists of different receiving points located in residential areas.

"This is a milestone in the implementation of AVG's broadcasting and transmission network construction and TV services delivery", said AVG Chairman Pham Nhat Vu at the launch ceremony.

Using advanced technology, the Network Control Centre allows AVG to not only supervise and ensure service quality on the 24/7 basis, but also minimise the manpower required to operate the system.
