VETERAN Brisbane radio announcer Haydn Sargent has passed away this morning at the age of 77, 4BC reports.
The long-time mornings announcer at 4BC passed away peacefully after a long illness, Sargent's daughter Leisa told the station.
The
former radio personality, a father-of-five, became a household name
through his radio and television career in the 1970s. He worked for
television and radio outlets, most recently 4BC and the ABC.
